How do I know where the Canada Futures team is travelling?

The general locations will be provided prior to any athlete committing to the team and will be announced as early as possible. Given the complexity of scheduling games and training with multiple teams the detailed itineraries may be provided closer to the travel date.

I live outside of British Columbia. Am I able to tryout for Canada Futures?

Yes, we’ve had athletes tryout and play with Canada Futures in the past. You are responsible for your own travel and accommodations for the tryout/ID Camp and training in BC. We typically hold 2-3 weekend training camps prior to departing for our travel experiences.

If there are multiple destinations, am I able to request the one I’d prefer?

You can make the request but ultimately the needs of the team for positions, ability, and attitude are the primary drivers for team selection.
